Some photos of Marilyn in New York by Sam Shaw. I love the ones where she's reading the newspaper in Central Park - that looks more like the private Marilyn and I wonder, how it was possible for her reading the newspaper without having a crowd around her

I think she was very happy this year, enjoying her life with Arthur and her plans to have kids with him. I don't know what her trick was but she had the talent to look elegant even if she was wearing a simple white dress - possible the love gave her an extra portion of shining
