Thanks Chris for posting. Some beautiful treasures in this auction. Happy to see some clarification about the nude that featured in the dubious Ted Jordan book! Jean Harlow portraits are stunning and I'll take Natalie Wood's Mercedes, thanks.

Yes I would like also to know more details about the nude picture of page 22.On the auction's catalog they said that the photographer was Bruno Bernard but it seems strange to me.And I've got the book of Ted Jordan (I don't trust him too) who said that he took this picture in picture in 1945 and that Norma Jeane did not like it as "her rear is too big" !Do you think that it was Norma Jeane on the picture ? And do you have the name of the photographer ?ThanksI'm sending the page of the Ted Jordan's book.

I'm not really sure about that nude photo. It does look a bit like Marilyn, but I'm not entirely convinced. And especially not by the Bruno Bernard attribution - because in the past, he has been credited with lots of photos he may not actually have taken. Also, are these pictures of her with the hat and plaid shirt really by De Dienes? I thought they were taken by Richard C. Miller, or possibly William Carroll.

I meant the clarification that Ted Jordan DID NOT take that nude of Norma Jeane/MM (if it is her) as he claims in his book. I'm not sure who took this nude photo if it is authentic. Tara I think Richard C Miller took the hat and plaid shirt photos. Worries me too that auction houses are not doing their research ... But many items in the catalogue are great to see.

For the pictures with the hat and plaid shirt I always thought that the photographer was Richard C Miller and absolutely not De Dienes.
I agree the auction houses are to do researches and not write to write something...

No way that is 1945. She was still happily married and Ted Jordan says they had an affair. That right there is a lie (my opinion).
