First of all, sorry if I appear to be the bearer of bad news again! But just found some info on people who were neighbors of Marilyn back in 62.
Elizabeth Pollard, who lived across the cul-de-sac from Marilyn and claimed that a guest at her house had seen RFK arriving at Marilyn's house in the late afternoon. She stated this to Robert Slatzer- who is dubious to say the least- but Pollard would have had no way of knowing this back in 62. We know what Slatzer was.. TODAY!

Abe Landau. He was a university professor and when arriving home from a dinner that saturday evening, claimed to have seen both an ambulance and a patrol car parked in front of Marilyn's house. Now, his house was at the corner of Helena Drive and Carmelina Avenue and it would've been a good 100 yards or so to look up the street to see what was going on. Then again, he had no reason to be inventing stories.

Then there was Hanna Fenichel who lived on 3rd Helena drive but because back then there weren't as many houses and trees to block the view, was said to have had a good view of Marilyn's house.By the way, she was involved in child psychology and is said to have been good friends with the Greensons.

And someone who wasn't a neighbor: Lynn Franklin. He was a Beverly Hills Police Officer and is the one who supposedly forced a speeding car to stop, only to find that inside the car were Ralph Greenson, Peter Lawford and... RFK!!

Does anyone know anything more about any of these people or anyone else who may have lived in the vicinity of Marilyn's home?

All info is useful in trying to visualize what went on that night!

Another neighbor on Third Helena Drive is Hanna Fenichel, a prominent psychoanalyst active in the Marxist faction of the Psychoanylistic Institute and friend of Dr. Greeson's. The second story of her house overlooks the Fifth Helena Drive cul-de-sac.

Other neighbors, the John and Joan Maurcieri family on Dunoon Drive, wil share with Mrs. Murray memories of their famous neighbor's curiousity about them. The back of the Maurcieri home buttresses the rear of Marilyn's property. On the morning of Joan's birthday, the family celebrates by having a brunch made by the young daughters on the patio. They notice Marilyn, in a red kimono, standing on the hill at the edge of her property quietly watching them. The Maurcieri family chooses not to acknowledge her. Embarrassed, Marilyn slowly walks up the hill toward her home. The family will later wish they had asked her to join them.

Did Marilyn own a red kimono at that time? interesting story and sad if it is true.

Thanks for this Nettie! As for the Fenichel's Marxist sympathies, I can't say I'm surprised because Greenson was apparently a sympathizer too.
But your reference to Maucieri is remarkable because I checked at whitepages.com and in the same house-today- lives someone called Mauceri.Slightly different spelling but probably just a mistake. Anyway, he's apparently 57 years old which makes it impossible for him to have been the owner of the house at the time but he is quite possibly the brother of the two girls who were on the patio.
Maybe he can actually make the claim that he once spoke to Marilyn Monroe!
