As pointed out by Alan here, there's also a documentary tonight at 10pm on Channel 5 entitled 'Who Killed Marilyn Monroe?'.

Move Over, Darling the Doris Day remake of SGTG, is on Tuesday 26th on Film4 (two days). I know it's not Marilyn, but I thought it was worth mentioning. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

I caught a bit of it the other day. It was so weird, the bit i seen was the shoe shop scene. Really strange to see Doris playing that bit. I didn't watch it for too long, i got a bit sad.

I watched it all, it wasn't as good as SGTG looked like it was going to be IMO. But obviously a huge Marilyn bias here. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink3.gif)

Move Over Darling was on again today, all I kept thinking throughout was "damn that could've been Marilyn". Even felt a little sad about it at times (IMG:style_emoticons/default/no.gif) . But overall the film wasn't to bad I guess...

It's not listed on immortal Marilyn, so just posting here incase you wanted to see it.

Great film, highly underrated.

The Goddess

Patty Duke and Kim Stanley (who played Cherie in Bus Stop on Broadway before it was filmed) star in this film loosely based on the life of Marilyn Monroe, written by Paddy Chayevsky after MM backed out of a separate film project with him, supposedly on the advice of Arthur Miller. The story of a young woman destined from childhood to be adored by millions but unhappy in her own life. Also starring Lloyd Bridges and Joan Copeland (Miller's actress sister.) (Black and White, 1958)
