I quite agree with your analysis, Zelda, combined with the fact that Marilyn was naturally shy about expressing her feelings in public.

And I guess it took so much of her energy, to be constantly playing this role, it must have been imposible to go on. I just canīt imagine to carry on such a weight. Seems to me that there was something she was trying not to give away. Her personal feelings for views on communism? the Soviets? I don't know. She definitely wanted to not be pushed into saying something. Only she knew what. |
