She appeared on the January 1953 cover of NAS magazine as Miss NAS 1952.
She looks like it was during the filming of GPB to me. So that would make it November/December 1952 when this photo was taken of her.

Navy's Carnival, Show Business King Transferred to Alaska Post
Chief Journalist John R. Samuelson, long-time editor of Naval Air Station’s North Islander, has (received orders to report to Com 17 in Kodiak, Alaska. He will leave San Diego upon completion of his latest promotion—the North Island Benefit Carnival, to be held Memorial Day weekend.

His inside track in Hollywood has resulted in numerous personal appearances at The Naval Air Station of many entertainment world stars. Notable successes of the veteran navy chief include the record breaking 1952 Navy Relief Carnival in San Diego in which he held the posts of promotional entertainment and publicity chairman.

THERE WAS REASON TO BEAM Marilyn Monroe poses with Chief Samuelson. (See the cover of the magazine she is holding is same ?)

A galaxy of stars including Marilyn Monroe, * Jane Russell, all volunteered in promotions staged by Samuelson for the Naval Air Station.
