Hi (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif)
I have the book, and I can sum it by saying that I love it. It has lots of beautiful, high quality, big photos and some information about the pics.
Only the foreword is by Jane Russell, but it's a very beautiful foreword. There's also an interview of Marilyn included (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
If you're considering buying this book, go for it! It's still one of my favorite MM photobooks (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/redsitting.gif)

I received this book after waiting for 2 months ... and it was worth all the trouble. A beautiful book, and the foreword by Jane Russell is so touching. What a great lady she is.

The pictures are very good quality and big, and there's also a Marilyn interview with Georges Belmont from 1960 which looks very interesting.

I searched for a Topic about this book, but couldn't find it, anyways:

I've ordered this book, and I heard that this must be a good photo book, with a rare interview in it (I believe it was by George Belmont). Can someone tell me, is it worth buying?
And are there many pictures in? Or more text than pictures?

Thanks, Robby (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .

Here's a link to a thread on this book - it is right at the back and hard to find. I like this book a lot. Jane Russell's intro is great, Belmont's interview with Marilyn is one of the best I have read. These are at the beginning, the rest is pictures. They are all full-page and in great quality.

Wow ! I just read the interview at the library. Great read. She is so sweet. Can someone please scan the interview Georges Belmont for those of us who had never read it before? I STILL have no scanner. But I am going to have to buy one soon.

I believe this book is a must have for any Marilyn fan! It's fantastic, full of wonderful photos of our dear Marilyn from the moment she was a starlet until the last sitting of Bert Stern; in this book there is also an interesting interview.
Buy it!
