Have any of you had any thoughts on the Harvey Weinstein allegations that just keep appearing over and over again in the news? It has made me think about Marilyn and all the casting couch awfulness that she and many other actresses had to go through for decades on end. The men from Marilyn's time are now likely dead and will never be brought to justice but for so long it was accepted as the norm to trade in sexual favours for parts in the movies. Suddenly now there is this groundswell of people stepping forward to talk about the abuse from the men in power. Why on earth has it taken this long for all of this to be taken seriously? It all seems long overdue.
