Hi guys,

I'm uploading the photos to my blog but I don't know how to ad my blog name to the photo. I have Microsoft Word and Microsoft Paint programs. Could someone help me, please? Thank you.

Do you mean that you want to watermark the photos?

If so, that can easily be done with Paint. I can show you. I'll watermark a Marilyn pic and show you step-by-step how I do it.

If that's not what you're asking, then this entire post is going to look extremely foolish! LOL

You just click on the text icon (it's the "A" in the yellow circle)

(IMG:http://thumbnails110.imagebam.com/40118/3b649c401175322.jpg)

Then it will let you draw a text box anywhere on the image. There will be an option to make the text box either opaque or transparent. Click transparent.

Then just write what you want your watermark to read.

And your done!

I must advise you though PLEASE DO NOT watermark photos unless you:

1) Own the copyright to the photo; or

2) Have edited the photo in some way (such as changing the colouring or cropping the image) and you don't want anyone stealing your artwork

Watermarked photos are just a nuisance. Sorry to sound rude, but if you don't own some aspect of the photo, then you're only adding a watermark to be annoying and anyone with Photoshop and patience can remove a watermark pretty effortlessly.

Thank you Amy (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/clapping.gif) (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/marilynbybrandon_190.gif) . This was exactly what I meant.

Well, there's a reason why I want to watermark my photos. I have lot of rare photos which haven't been much seen (I have purchased those photos and edited them) and I'm tired of seeing my photos with another bloggers (tumblr or pinterest) without any credit. For example my Seven year itch photos (contact sheet photos). If somebody wants to remove my watermark after marking my photos I just have to accept it but I think it's rude.

But once again Amy: thank you, thank you so much for your help (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/marilynbybrandon_190.gif) .

In that case, then I don't blame you at all for watermarking the photos. I bought a rare Wizard of Oz book years ago with rare behind the scenes pics in it. I scanned them and uploaded them to a classic movie forum and I started seeing my scans popping up everywhere! At first, seeing my scans all over the place made me so angry, but now whenever I see one of my scans pop up on someone's blog, it makes me kinda happy to see them being spread around and enjoyed.

But, yes, it is sooooo annoying seeing someone else take the credit for your money and time and work.
