For UK TV viewers, on Sky Arts1, 9pm, Wedneday 11th Feb - also on Virgin 281, HD 282.
I don't get either of these channels, unfortunately !
The subtitle is "Film Critics discuss the life and career of the actress".
The blurb for the programme, is, ominously -"It took Marilyn Monroe 47 takes to deliver her famous line "It's me, Sugar".
If any of you catch it, please let us know what you think.

I saw it Alan. I enjoyed it. It wasn't terribly deep or original but it was mostly respectful and complimentary. The voice-over saying that MM made 'How To Marry A Millionaire' with Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart was a howler. Oh, well, they were half right.

What did you think of it?

Thank you, Angel. I did not see it as I do not get those channels.
I'm relieved that it was respectful - despite the "howler", and that you enjoyed.
Now I shall have to look out for it popping up somewhere else !
