So many old timers are no longer here.
I remember lupe who passed away awhile back. I miss him. Does anyone remember a member named Norah? I believe she was also called bunny? |

I've noticed Harold Haefker has deleted a lot of his postings, which is a shame as a lot of threads have had their photos removed by him. I'm sure he had his reasons. Just a great shame that much of what he contributed has gone. Well, all of it actually. |

Haha I remember it took me ages to figure out how to join here! I liked the site but I just couldn't figure out how to become a member of the forum for a while. I needed an idiot's guide, I think. I was so relieved when I finally became successful and became a member. I always thought you had to pay to get into here. And I'll never forget the first time I saw the photo threads. I was still at school in an ICT lesson. While everyone else sneaked onto MySpace (which was all the craze before Facebook if anyone remembers it), I was sneaking on Everlasting Star instead. And I almost fell off my chair when I saw the photo threads in that lesson, particularly the movies section.
Me and my mates all used to email each other through our hotmail accounts even though we were sat by each other lol. We all used to Google our names as well. Anyway, yeah. Slightly off-track there! I wouldn't say I was an old-timer if the boards started in 2002. Not really. But oh well! Doesn't make you any less of a valued member if you still login everyday like the old-timers. I first stumbled across ES around 2004, I think, but it took a few years before I discovered the boards. I read what others had to say, but I didn't feel like I had anything to contribute. However, I finally decided to give it a try anyway, and so I joined in 2010. I have noticed that a lot of people who seemed to be very active here don't even sign in anymore, and I think that's very sad, even though I personally don't know them. I hope that some of them decide to come back.

I remember Lupe! He was such a nice man! he gave me advice on getting my Marilyn hair-pin framed. I was so sad he passed away.
