If someone is looking for an easy icon tutorial (how to sharpen the image etc.) I found something that princess RxY made at deviantART (for PS CS users)

The link is here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/38869049/

Happy avatar making (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

example by me: Attached File beaf.jpg ( 52.21K )Number of downloads: 131

I've edited my post for better understanding and the image too. I know, you will make it. It's not easy, I'm still learning too. Good luck and show us your results (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

This is my first tutorial, and I put it together pretty fast, but hopefully it makes sense!

It's for making rounded corners, like this:

Thank you so much, Nancy, that's so cool (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) !

[EDIT]
I tried to do your tutorial on the rounded corners, but it didn't worked. I don't have the path tool, and when I insert the rounded tool thing, the image I selected becomes white ... (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/eyebrow.gif) ?

Would anyone know, how on the "rounded corner" tutorial to make the avator have a black boarder? Like the avator I'm using. (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

ooh, that's a snap Joey. Just select the area outside your icon, and inverse it. (select>inverse). Then just go to edit>stroke, pick color, width, etc... (IMG:http://www.everlasting-star.net/boards/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)
